A real extraordinary artist with an unusual CV: Raksan can look back to a career longer then 25 years as an oriental dancer on the stages of well-known vaudeville – theatres (including GOP / Hanover, Tigerpalast / Frankfurt, Chameleon / Berlin, Tivoli / Hamburg, Friedrichsbau / Stuttgart) in Germany and Switzerland, as well as the circus rings of popular circus companies (Circus Roncalli). Her work, the interface between Middle Eastern traditions and western entertainment art was published as a documentary at the German TV “dance of the night” (3SAT,  ARTE, ZDF) in 1997. Raksan is an experienced and charismatic entertainer and a very inspiring teacher with an international reputation. Her highly individualised and interdisciplinary dance style, which combines the principles of modern dance, ballet,improvisation techniques and the soul of the oriental dance to a contemporary whole.
